Recently, there have been rumors circulating about The Gauntlet. While it is natural that many members are frustrated under the circumstances, we ask that every member disregard the rumors simply because they are unreliable and inaccurate. The Gauntlet, like most productions in Hollywood, was a victim of the recent union strikes (pre-SAG and WGA) and had to be postponed due to union rules and regulations (delays, industry complications, unforeseen changes, etc. are second nature to any production). However, the staff of The Gauntlet has worked diligently to finally resolve the issue.

It is safe to announce that we expect to commence pre-production for reshoots within the next six weeks. Please keep in mind that pre-production generally takes up a lot of time, considering the elaborate builds and sets, complicated F/X renderings, and logistics of a production of our scope. We will also announce the remaining winners within this time.

In regards to the specific concerns, The Gauntlet staff, has not under any circumstances whatsoever,disclosed any information in regards to official release dates and financial details of The Gauntlet. This type of information is of confidential nature, and it will never be advertised to the public, Yippi, Yippi members, or otherwise. 

It was also brought to our attention that some members were complaining about the legitimacy of the Gauntlet team's crew/cast Yippi pages, mainly because they were not accepting friend request and returning messages. For legal reasons, we cannot instruct anybody (whether employed by The Gauntlet or not) who to talk to or not to talk to. Like any other member on the site, they have the right of accept/reject any member. These are basic privacy rights and they are entitled to it. Certainly, this is normal enough.

For future references, please obtain information about The Gauntlet from the production staff only. They can be found on The Gauntlet's main Yippi page. 

We will answer any additional questions any member may have. Please post them on this blog and a staff member will answer them daily.
