I make Widescreen DVD's with Pinnacle Studio 10.7 and a Sony DV camcorder 9x16 with an Olympus 5Mb camera.
All purchased second hand and paid for with my SSI check. My mom says my stuff looks as good a anybody's on her HDTV. I have been rendering my stuff at 720x480 9x16. The frame rate is  regular 30 frames a second instead of official HD 720i which is supposed to be 60 frames a second. I have posted about 15 videos on the web in the last three years. You can see them through my 6 year old web page  http://markhi.us. I've been accepted at University Hawaii art school not sure if I'll attend though. I like making sculpture with ceramics too. I took three sessions at the Ala Wai Center. I'm getting a waterproof  helmet camera for my 50th birthday-I'm going to get some good action shots snorkeling.
