Martha ChristieBorn in Melbourne, to Greek parents, Martha Christie, is an actress, writer/singer, and a classically trained violist. Performing from an early age, Martha's career began at the Victoria State Theatre in the Australian production of 'Joseph'. This was followed by roles in productions such as 'Les Miserables', 'Amadeus' and 'Little Shop of Horrors', amongst others. A successful modelling career has seen Martha front numerous worldwide advertising campaigns and appearing on catwalks alongside the likes of Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum and Gisele Bundchen. A consumately accomplished vocalist, musician, and songwriter, having studied at the renowned, Melbourne Conservatorium, Martha has worked with some of the finest talents in the business, including Macho Psycho, (Pink), Mads Hauge and David Tench, (Natasha Beddingfield, Girls Aloud), Adam Argyle, (Spice Girl, Mel C), Ian Morrow, (Wet Wet Wet), and in Ireland with Ronan Keating and Pat Donne, (Paddy Casey). Throughout her years spent in Europe, Martha has never lost her abiding passion for acting and has already worked alongside established directors such as Michael Rymer and Declan Lowney and appeared in television spots and features both here in Europe, and in her beloved homeland of Australia.Martha has just completed filming on, Lisa Mulcahy's feature, 'Next'. |
