We start out on Friday with a friendly get together / mixer in Greensboro, NC to get everyone on-board with what the show will be doing, then Saturday morning we head out to a Belews Creek, a heated lake and film some sick footage of extreme wake boarding, then, everyone heads to friend of The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show, Andy Sharpe's house for a BBQ / pre-gnarly party and then, this is the best part. "THE SUMMIT LEEP OF FAITH"

On June 22 we head out to Skydive City Inc. WHY? The Hosts of The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show (Morgan "HOLLYWOOD" Monroe and Tom Spano) invite you to head out to Zephyrhills, FL with them for a tandem jump, and what is a tandem jump? Tandem jumping has been around since the early 80's. It is about the EASIEST way to do that "First Jump". After about 20 minutes of training, you will ascend to 13500' (4200m) in our turbine aircraft.

Wearing a harness connected directly to the Tandem parachute system, you will jump together and accelerate to 120MPH (200Kph), freefalling for about 60 seconds.

 

At about 5000', the parachute will open , and then with assist's supervision you will be steering the parachute during the 4-6 minute ride down. During that time you will get to practice the landing, have yourself a great roller coaster ride (if you like that), and then land on the dropzone with your video person waiting to film it all.

A freefall Videographer can capture your experience, filming the skydive and landing, as well as the 'candid' interviews, special effects and music - producing a 6-8 minute professional production, ready before you leave (as well as a roll of film for you to take home)

With the training, preparation, aircraft ride, jump, and video dubbing, you should plan on being with us for about 1/2 a day. The Grind for Life Striling Skateboard Park Dunedin Contest #2 Results

The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show has covered The Grind for Life Contest #2 at the Striling Skateboard Park in Dunedin Florida. The Grind for Life crue started setting up on the morning of Saturday, April 5th, 2008 at 8 am, Team Pain as biult a perfect Striling Skateboard Park that is at is at the MLK Jr. Center. The weather was looking very gnarly, and the forcast was calling for high winds and rain, but like Mike Roger (founder of Grind for Life) told The Host on The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show Morgan "HOLLYWOOD" Monroe, every Grind For Life event never gets rained out and all ways ends up being a perfect day for skateboarding. There was 84 Girls, ladys, boys and yes old men too that entered in the flow bowl contest. Legendary skateboarder, Mike Frazier's son Reese Frazier had a skateboard daybiew with his 1st contest placing 10'th with a score of 65.5 with a style that looked a lot like his fathers. before the 30-39 and 40-up old dude's divisions got started, Mike Frazier, Tim Johnson, and Cody Eurich through down a rippin demo braking in Striling Skateboard Park right. The Ian Tillman Foundation set up a booth at the front gate of the park, checked helmets to see if they needed repairs and giving out new helmets to those in need. The Ian Tillman Foundation was kind enough to give The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show a great wind blown interview about their son Ian and The Ian Tillman Foundation. Courtney Paine Taylor "GRO Founder" Girls Rriders Organization, (http://www.girlsriders.org ) placed 7th in the girls devition with a score of 75.167 and had a perfect score later the next day in a unreal and very revealing interview, showing just how hard she works to change the sprot of skateboarding for girls all over the world. The Dunedin Florida Grind for Life event raised some $2400 for GFL to help people with cancer. A great big thank you goes out to Mike Rogers and all of the GFL team for showing the City of Dunedin Florida it's skaters and The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show just how fun it can be helping people with cancer and broke in their new skatepark.    Charles Reger, an Executive Producer of The Gauntlet notified The HOLLYWOOD Network been giving the honors of hosting the Hollywood Big Break Contest audition result for the film The Gauntlet. The news came on January 9th via telephone. The audition results will be announced via there new show "The HOLLYWOOD Summit Show Live" on Yippi.com. There's No Way Out!

 

PLOT SUMMARY: In a sunken castle underneath the earth, six strangers wake. They have no food. No memory. No water. And no way out. These strangers are from every normal walk of life, yet they each have a secret. They don't know it yet, but they're capable of something they never imagined. They must organize and band together for the sinister adventure that awaits them.

ABOUT THE PRODUCTION: The Gauntlet is a horror thriller directed by Matt Eskandari, starring Bai Ling, Warren Kole, Jaime Ray Newman, Jude Ciccolella, and Dustin Nguyen.

With a screenplay by Matt Eskandari and Adam Lawson and from a story by Adam Lawson, The Gauntlet is produced by Jonathan Shih, Daniel Wei, and Wellington Sun for Kingdom of Light Entertainment and Executive Produced by Charles Reger and John Reger for Yippi Entertainment. Associate Producers are Harry Liang from Eastern Shine Productions.

The Gauntlet was in pre-production for 4 months and physical production for 5 weeks in Beijing, China. U.S. production will commence mid-January, once final candidates from the site are selected.

The Gauntlet's Big Hollywood Break Contest- Terms and Conditions:

I know you need votes to feel like your popular. Try myspace. I took my Get Discovered page off yippi, and posted a bulletin telling everyone. READ THE BULLETINS. I have peeps telling me that they do not read them cuzz it's only about peeps asking for votes. They missed out of 300 L.A. Casting agents that I posted and 600 that VIEW3D.TV posted. Peeps would pay big bucks for that kinda info and having absolutely no responsibility for your what you call networing took that from them. I'm S.A.G. you can't see my work if did do post and I had over 3000 votes and for what? Did they vote for my pictures? It's not right what is going on in the voting system right now. When it get's better it will return. Yippi has a lot of talent that is not being seen and that sucks for them and it's all cuzz they don't have time to vote. Did you know we have a girl living out of her car right now in Hollywood from yippi? And no one knows who she is. THAT IS JUST NOT RIGHT. If peep's would surf yippi read pages they would not that. Why have anything on your page at all? Her husband is an actor and he lives in his car too. They park at the same places. They don't vote, they work to make it. THAT IS JUST NOT HOW IT SHOULD BE. It makes me sick when I hear peeps say it takes a lot of time to vote, "for the peeps that vote for them" GET THIS! THEY ARE TAKING FROM OTHERS AND GIVING VOTES TO SOME PEEPS WITH NO TALENT AT ALL. She wants to act so bad that she will not go back home yet. We have more just like her. Doug E Hollywood is the same way. He will post vdo of the way he lives then in L.A. you will freak out. When you see him on line you know he has found someone with a computer and is wanting to know what is going on here at yippi.. Some weeks not one comment at all no votes, But he is not here for that. HOW SAD.... And yet he is now working for Disney for now and gave out an offer for 78 passes for yippi's to go to Disney for frre. I was the only one the showed up. It was for christmas day. What a gift.

Trust me on this one. Just take one night off voting and have a look around. I want you to see how your voting and style of what you think is networking effects every aspect of yippi and it's peeps. This is not about "not voting". It's about how you vote and the responsibility of that vote you cast, and it's inpact on the future of yippi and the peeps career's that vote will have on them. Fact is, 90% of you will not read this. Have you taken the time to read some of the get discovered profiles you vote for? "I DO" What the hell are you voting for? Your vote for someone with no get discoevered page or very little or no talent at all is taking the chance for someone who has this talent but no time to vote your you. It started with one man's greed and selfish desire for his pursuit of votes has a list of peep msg'in peep asking for votes. MSG's are for talking to your peeps not asking for votes. TRY THIS, "Hi, my name is "your name here", could you please find the time to stop by my page and read my about me and see my get discovered page? I have read your and I................... You don't just drop a banner with out having something to say. Now you have taken the wheel of greed and selfish desire for your pursuit of a path of the destruction for other talents career. This is your wake up call. It's not about voting. Networking is not about votes, voting will not get you work. In fact! Take all the time you put into voting and network the right way and you will find out how the peeps in your network truly are and how much talent they have. You want to work with peeps of talent. That being the fact why would you waste time on a page with no talent. If your on someones page and see it's not set up yet, ask them if they need help or when they do set it up to tell you so you can check it out. This is your career you need to work on it everyday.

We make yippi what it is. I want it to be fun, full of great peeps and lot's of helpful information that will change the path of peeps careers... "WE" all of us are yippi... We made it what it is today and are making the road for what it will be tomorrow. It's what I call my home away from home, it's where my wife and I talk and all my friend hang out and yes, play.... For me it was never about being number one here at yippi. Yes I was nuber one for months but that was not my goal. My only goal was building a strong network, that was my number one goal. I took my love for film and let that be my drive in what I do here at yippi. My number one position was only a result of my drive to come up with a strong network It grows everyday. I have my peeps list, and in that I have a real networking group of peeps that I call friends. We call each other on the phone and talk at all hours of the day.

I hear alot of peeps say they want to network. What is networking and why network at all? Are you peeps just here for votes? To network for votes in hopes of finding work is nothing more them 'keeping the dream alive". Your "dream" of luck, and it just may be by some stroke of luck, someone will see you up on top and say, wow! LOOK, SHE OR HE IS ON TOP, THEY MUST BE A BIG STAR! Umm? Then they look at your get discovered profile thats not there or weak and say. HAIR-DA-H3LL-LOW! I'm not a star nor will I ever be. But I work, and it's not from lack of want. I just want to film. Don't set there waiting for luck to come your way, Give 100% in everything you do and give fate a good kick in the @$$. If it is your destiny, you need to find it outside of your "dream". Make it real. To do that you need to network the right way. Asking for votes is not networking at all. I hear "share the vote" ? What's that? How in the h+ll do you "share" a vote? If all you have is a vote "keeping the dream alive" your so jellin, go to Vegas, Your going to get rich so fast there dude... LOL! Come on peeps. I've put some super must read info up for all of you, telling you why, and that there is way more work out there for all of us. You just need to work for it. NO? Read about the writers strike going on right now. WAKE UP HERE PEEPS! I see fights on bulletins over votes. OMG! Everyone on yippi see's that, do you think your helpin someone by choppin another? I would never want someone like that on my set. Would you? And if so, what do you think that will get you? Peeps like that have no place here in a professional work place. If you know someone in your nertwork that is not productive at all. What are you thinking? Is this person going to help out in getting you work or just #1? Why are they here at all? And what will being # 1 get you? NOT WORK! This place is for professionals. Lets keep it that way. If I was to ask a casting agent to log on to yippi to check out some of my networks projects that they had worked very hard on and they were to see you pull that, what would they think? You need tons of peeps, but your network is for the one's you want to work with. For me, like I have told you all from day one, being number one on yippi.com was not my goal. Building a strong network was my number one goal, as my love for film is my drive, my number one position for so long (months) was only a result of my drive to come up with a strong network and I now have that network. What did my hard work for a perfect network get me? It got "US"! (I FOUND PEEPS THAT WORKED AS HARD AS I DO.) The same thing (WE) "share" with everyone in this real network, "NO! It's not a vote that I "share". (I "GIVE" THE PEEPS IN MY NETWORK VOTES.) Why? They show me, not tell me they work very hard. The peeps in my network work togather as one and "SHARE" a chance to work in a film. A "REAL" chance. Right now my network "share" a screen play in production right now, we have directors, stunt men, and actors and are doing the first rewrite on the script. This is why My click is here. To find work, Make film. This is not a popularity contest here, but is you ask Tom from myspace I'm sure he'll be up to it...... If your here, you must want something? WHAT? DON'T TELL US, SHOW US... The only thing a vote should do for you is keep you in the top 20.

You know, I keep getting msg's, asking why am I adding so much information on HOLLYWOOD YippyKya Network Members Blog? I WANT EVERYONE IN MY NETWORK TO BE SUCCESSFUL AND HAVE SOMETHING TO OFFER. I WANT TO WORK WITH PEEPS THAT WANT TO GIVE BACK. Yes, the info is something all actors pay for. So what... Just don't waste my time, take the info and find work. At one time we added over 300 casting agent to a blog for you. You just needed to copy and paste all the info to a work pad and print it then cut out the addie's, cut them out and tape that to your yellow clasp envelopes, put all your info in it and mail it out. The HOLLYWOOD YippyKya Network is the very first and only Network group to find everyone of it's members on yippi.com and bring a film project to production..As you all may know, or not, the first project by the HOLLYWOOD Network will be a film based on a true story that covers the lives of a group of stuntmen and actors that meet in Hollywood one summer as they strugle to make there "dream".
