Anything with Jack Nicholson, Clint Eastwood, Kevin Spacey, Christopher Walken, Harry Dean Stanton. Love independent films, particuarly European films. Wim Wenders and Jim Jarmoush come to mind. One of my favorite films of all time is "His Girl Friday" with Cary Grant and Rosiland Russel. Films in the Howard Hawkes vein that have continuous intelligent banter between characters. "The Hudsucker Proxy" did a great job of this. Another great one is "The Big Kahuna". This film needs to be seen multiple times it has so much in it. Danny DeVito gives one of the most intense monologues of all film history at the end of it.

"The Book of Five Rings" is the most worthwhile book I ever read

I am a humanist basically. I live and let live and try to take each person as an individual and respect their strengths and tolerate their weaknesses. Unless of course you overtly try to hurt me or someone I care about and then you can pretty much count on an evil enemy for life. I am an adrenaline junkie and will try just about anything once just to see what it is like. I love the challenge of new experiences and people and cultures. Fortunately I tend to be one of those annoying people who can watch someone for a while, and then do what ever skill they were doing with a fair degree of copetency, and if I work at it I can usually get pretty good at it. Most of my professional career has been spent living in Germany, South Africa, and the Middle East. And I have traveled pretty much anyplace worth seeing in Western Europe, North America, Southern Africa, Australia, some of Japan, Hong Kong, and the Middle East. Still single, looking for just the right woman. Unfortunately my standards are high and the women I usually fall for don't feel the same. Not to mention I am not often in one place long enough to meet many available females. But there is always hope.
